Hiring (paused)

We are looking for a director of social media, a director of operations and new readers!

Our team at Monstering is what enables us to continue publishing the work of disabled women and gender-diverse people. Monstering has been a labour of love since 2016. We are currently unable to pay our staff, but we are hoping to do so in the future as we develop new avenues for income and support of our publication. Monstering will be creating a LinkedIn page, so feel free to add the job to your resume to demonstrate experience!

Our only requirements for staff are that you support our mission, identify as disabled and belong to a marginalized gender identity or identify as someone who has experienced gender-based oppression. This includes physical, intellectual, mental and other types of disabilities (we will not ask you to disclose your disability) and identities such as women, transgender people, non-binary individuals, and others (again, we will not ask you to disclose).
